• *THE DAYS OF THE GREATER GLORY*

    *PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*

    *SATURDAY, 11TH JANUARY 2025*

_*...Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain (James 5:7).*_

The Lord Jesus referred to the Father as the husbandman, and we, the body of Christ, are the precious fruit of the earth that He waits for. The apostle James, in the theme verse, also tells us that the husbandman patiently waits until He receives the early and latter rain (James 5:7).

We understand that concerning lsrael, the latter rain began on the Day of Pentecost. Peter confirmed this when he said, _*"...it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh..."*_ (Acts 2:17). This was the beginning of the outpouring that had been prophesied to take place in the last days.

Hosea 6:3 gives us further insight into this promise: _*"Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth."*_ This rain, spoken of in Hosea, pertains to both Israel and the Church. For Israel, the latter rain came at Pentecost, marking the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the early Church.

However, within the Church, that outpouring on the Day of Pentecost was not the latter rain but the early rain. The early rain is the seed-time rain, the rain that comes after the Word of God has been sown, causing it to sprout and grow. Acts 2 marked the start of the Church with the descent of the Holy Spirit, the beginning of a new era for the Church.

The prophet Haggai also spoke of a greater glory to come: _*"The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former..."*_ (Haggai 2:9). This means that even though the early rain was glorious, the latter rain, which we are now experiencing, will far exceed what we saw at the beginning. We are living in the days of that greater glory, where the Church will manifest even more of God's grace and power.

Peter, James and John lived in the last days concerning Israel, but we live in the last days concerning the Church. The latter rain for lsrael is the early rain for the Church, and we're living in the time of the fullness of that latter rain. Hallelujah!

    *PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I rejoice in the knowledge that I'm a part of your precious fruit, nurtured by the early and latter rain. Thank you for the greater glory that is now manifest in the Church in these end times. I walk in the power and fullness of your Spirit today, impacting my world with the fruits and works of righteousness, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

  • *FORGIVENESS IS IN THE PACKAGE*

    *PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*

    *TUESDAY, 31ST DECEMBER 2024*

_*The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins (Acts 5:30-31).*_

What we just read brings to mind the words of the Lord Jesus when He appeared to Saul of Tarsus. He told him He was sending him to the Gentiles, _*"To open their eyes...that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me"*_ (Acts 26:18).

Notice the emphasis in the latter part on receiving forgiveness of sins, not asking for it. You're to "take" forgiveness of sins. Read that latter part again and see the connection between receiving forgiveness of sins and our inheritance; they're both under the same Greek word "Lambano."

The same way you receive an inheritance is how you receive forgiveness. Just as it's pointless to ask for your inheritance again and again, for the Bible says in Him (Christ Jesus) we have obtained an inheritance (Ephesians 1:11), it's superfluous to keep asking God for forgiveness. That's because in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, forgiveness is in the package; you receive it and make it yours.

Read 1 John 1:9 and notice that it doesn't say, "ask for forgiveness"; rather, it says to acknowledge your sins. Why? It's because He's already provided for your forgiveness. What He wants you to do is to obtain forgiveness; receive it.

It's important that we teach people the accurate Word of God. If Satan can keep you asking for forgiveness again and again and you aren't sure whether or not you're being forgiven, he will make you ineffective in your Christian life and unable to do the things that God has called you to do. Your faith will be weak. The Father knows this, and that's the reason He provided for your forgiveness.

If you did something wrong in your life and you are thinking about what to do, stop asking and trying to wait to know whether or not God has forgiven you; receive ("lambano"—Greek) forgiveness; take it! You say, "Father, I acknowledge that this thing I did is wrong, and I receive forgiveness in the Name of Jesus." That puts the responsibility on you not on God. It's no longer a question of whether or not God has forgiven you; rather, it's about whether you have received what He already made available to you. Forgiveness is part of that Gospel package. Hallelujah!

    *PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I rejoice in the inheritance I have obtained in Christ, knowing that forgiveness is part of the Gospel package. I walk in the freedom and victory you've provided, empowered to live a life that glorifies you. I live an effective Christian life, knowing that I've been justified by faith. Now, I walk in righteousness and produce fruits of righteousness, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

    *|||| FREEDOM FROM SIN ||||*

*|| If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
    ||*

    Monday 30th, December.
    Pastor Chris

The word confess in the verse above is translated from the Greek “Homologeo.” It’s a verb, which means to make declaration. But in the context of our
opening verse, it means to acknowledge. If we acknowledge our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Let’s also read Romans 3:24-26; it talks about God’s righteousness and the forgiveness of sin: “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness, for the remission of sins that are past…that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” God is righteous, and in His righteousness, He puts away man’s sins and justifies him.

Can you imagine that? It doesn’t say God justifies the one who confesses his sins and asks for forgiveness. He’s not so much after you getting forgiveness as He is after the real reason for forgiveness. Forgiveness is from the Greek word “Aphiemi” and it means freedom. The Father’s focus is freedom from sin.

Already, you’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. You’re the expression of His righteousness. Acts 13:38-39 tells us something remarkable; it says, “Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man (Jesus) is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins. And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses." Justified means to declare not guilty, acquitted, free—freedom from sin.

When we say freedom from sin, we’re not talking about freedom from the bondage of sin but freedom from sinning. Freedom from the bondage of sin refers to Satan’s dominion, which has been broken. But freedom from sin means the ability and possibility to live righteously and not to do wrong. Is that possible?

Emphatically yes! It’s what Jesus came to do; otherwise, it means His purpose wasn’t accomplished. But thanks be unto God; He fulfilled His purpose. He was
made sin so that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21). Now sin shall not have
dominion over you (Romans 6:14). We’ll learn more in our next study.

_*Who was betrayed and put to death because of our misdeeds and was raised to secure our justification (our acquittal), [making our account balance and absolving us from all guilt before God] (Romans 4:25 AMPC).*_

When we say "Jesus died for the whole world," it's a generic expression indicating that He died for all humanity. So, in that generic sense, Jesus was condemned in our place. He was judged for all of us. But when you believe in Him, two significant things happen. First, your acceptance and acknowledgement that His vicarious sacrifice was in your behalf makes it possible for you to receive eternal life.

Receiving eternal life means you're born again; you're now a brand new person, without a past: _*"...if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new"*_ (2 Corinthians 5:17). Then, now that you're a new creature in Christ Jesus, it's essential to understand that in the actual sense, Jesus didn't die for the sins of this new man in Christ because the new life you received upon the New Birth is the God-life; it's not tainted with sin.

The new man in Christ was created in righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:24). Colossians 3:10 says you _*"...have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him."*_ This realization leads to the understanding of why you're justified. The Bible says, "Jesus Christ was delivered up on account of our transgressions but He was raised for our justification" (Romans 4:25).

Now, being justified, you're at peace with God and have become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Those who don't understand this truth struggle daily, "trying" to be righteous and to please God. But the key is to simply accept the truth of what Jesus Christ has done and live by it.

    *PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I thank you for the gift of my brand-new life in Christ. I celebrate the truth that I am a new creation in Him, with old things completely passed away. I fully embrace my new identity and live in the fullness of eternal life that you have imparted to me. I declare that I am justified and empowered to live righteously, free from any past struggles, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

    *FURTHER STUDY*
*||* *Galatians 2:20-21* I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness [come] by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. *||*

*||* *Romans 5:12-17* Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. 15 But not as the offence, so also [is] the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, [which is] by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. 16 And not as [it was] by one that sinned, [so is] the gift: for the judgment [was] by one to condemnation, but the free gift [is] of many offences unto justification. 17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) *||*

*||* *2 Corinthians 5:17* Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. *||*

*||* *John 10:10* The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly. *||*

  • *YOU KNOW HIM*

    *PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*

    *FRIDAY, 20TH DECEMBER 2024*

_*You know the way to the place where I am going. Thomas said to him, Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way? (John 14:4-5 NIV).*_

The Lord Jesus, just before His crucifixion, had a meeting with His disciples where He told them He would be going away to Heaven. They were saddened by the news, but Jesus comforted them, saying, _*"...l go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going"*_ (John 14:3-4 NIV).

Notice His language: always succinct, always positive. It shows you the Master's mentality. He said, "You know the way to the place where I am going." But Thomas, who was thinking in the flesh, said, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?" Jesus' response to him was profound. He said, _*"...l am the way, the truth, and the life..."*_ (John 14:6). What an answer!

Jesus was speaking by the Spirit, and His answer probably made Thomas more confused because Thomas was reasoning in the flesh. Then Jesus said in the next verse, _*"If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him"*_ (John 14:7). Remarkable!

Notice that Jesus didn't say, "Okay, Thomas, from henceforth, I'm going to try to introduce the Father to you"; no! Rather, He said, "You know Him." This is the way He wants you to think. He doesn't want you arguing and declaring your lack of knowledge. Respond in the spirit. The Bible says you have an unction from the Holy One and you know all things (1 John 2:20). Hallelujah!

The Lord has said you know the Father; therefore say, "Yes sir! I know Him." Blessed be God! When you agree and affirm the Word like that, suddenly, the knowledge of God will well up in your spirit, and you'll discover the truth. Remember, He is the way, the truth, and the life. What He tells you is truth. If He says you know Him, that's the truth. Moreover, He also said it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom (Mathew 13:11, Luke 8:10), and that includes knowing the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!

    *PRAYER*
*I thank you Father, for you've revealed yourself to me in the Lord Jesus and by your Spirit. I declare with confidence that I know you, and I walk in that truth always. This knowledge transforms my life, my language and interactions. I walk as a victor, and your grace in my life is multiplied as a result of my knowledge of you, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

  • *THE MESSAGE OF CHRIST*

    *PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*

    *THURSDAY, 19TH DECEMBER 2024*

_*Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart (2 Corinthians 3:2-3).*_

What's an epistle? It's a letter or written message. When Paul said, "Ye are our epistle...," he was saying, "You're our message, known and read of all men." Jesus Christ was the message of God. He was the Word of God—God's message—sent to the world to be read of all men. He was manifested in the flesh.

When men encountered Jesus in Bible days, they encountered the Word of God. When He spoke, it was the Word speaking. When He acted, it was God's Word in action. When He healed, it was God's Word performing the miracles. Everything He did was the manifestation of the Word of God in flesh. Therefore, He was manifestly declared to be the Word of God in the flesh.

Now, referring to us, Paul says exactly the same thing: _*"Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us..."*_ (2 Corinthians 3:3). Did you see that? You are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ the same way Jesus was manifestly declared to be the Word of God in the flesh. This means you're the message of Christ, and being the message of Christ means you're the message of God.

If you are the epistle of Christ, then you're the epistle of God. If you are the word of Christ, then you're the Word of God. Knowing this amazing truth, how are you going to live your life? That's why God has given us His written Word so we can learn His language and talk His language. The necessary result of that is an outflow of the God-life through you. That'll be your experience every day. There'll be no defeat in your life. Irrespective of who your adversaries are or the circumstances in which you find yourself, you'll be an absolute victor. Glory to God!

    *PRAYER*
*Dear Father, thank you for making me the epistle of Christ, your living message to the world. I acknowledge that I'm your Word in the flesh, manifesting your glory, grace and truth. As I study the Word meditatively and speak it forth, I experience an outflow of the God-life, living in absolute victory and dominion in Christ Jesus. Amen.*

    *FURTHER STUDY:*
*||* *John 1:14* And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. *||*

*||* *1 John 4:17* Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. *||*

Glory to God! *PRAYER* *Dear Father, thank you for making me the epistle of Christ, your living message to the world. • *THE WORD IN FLESH*

    *PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*

    *MONDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2024*

_*And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14).*_

In one of our previous studies, I explained to you that Jesus is the Son of God—God in human flesh! The Bible shows us something more about who He is in John 1:1. It says, _*"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."*_ The 14th verse says, _*"...the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us...."*_ But a more accurate rendering is "the Word became flesh"; Jesus Christ is the Word of God become flesh.

It's easy to accept that Jesus is the living Word, the Word become flesh, but do you know that the same is true about you? The Bible says: _*"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever"*_ (1 Peter 1:23). You were born again by the Word of God, which lives and abides forever.

Think about it: Jesus Christ is the Logos of God, the Word of God, become flesh. Now, that same Word that became flesh gave birth to you. That makes you God's Word in flesh. Paul understood this and called us the epistles of Christ—the words of Christ: _*"Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart"*_ (2 Corinthians 3:3).

Then he points out something extraordinary in the 18th verse: _*"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord"*_ (2 Corinthians 3:18). He says as you reflect on God's Word, as you ponder and meditate on it, you see yourself—as the reflection of God's glory, for you're the offspring of the Word. Hallelujah!

    *PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I thank you for your Word that has given birth to me; now I have and live the life of the Word. I'm influenced and transformed by your Word to live the glory-life. I walk in the consciousness of this truth as I manifest your righteousness, wisdom, grace and truth in my daily life. Thank you for this divine life that I have in Christ Jesus. Amen.*

  • *HE CLEANSES YOU FROM ALL SINS*

    *PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*

    *MONDAY, 9TH DECEMBER 2024*

_*In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:14).*_

Our opening verse says in Christ Jesus we have redemption (riddance) through His blood, and then in the concluding part, it says, _*"...even the forgiveness of sins."*_ That word "even" is in parenthesis, which means it wasn't in the original text. The translators inserted it by their own prerogative, but it was wrongly applied.

The correct conjunction is the word "and": "In whom we have redemption through his blood, and the forgiveness of sins." To say "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins" suggests that "we have redemption of sins through His blood, meaning the forgiveness of sins." But that's not true, because they are two different things: first, in Christ Jesus, we have our riddance or redemption, and secondly, we have our freedom from sins (forgiveness). We're free from sins.

That means you don't have to sin. You don't have to keep watching to be sure that you don't sin; rather, just keep walking in righteousness; keep walking in the light in His Word—His Word is light (Psalm 119:105). 1 John 1:7 says, _*"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."*_ This happens automatically.

As you walk in the light of God's Word, and in fellowship with other Christians, He automatically cleanses you from all sins. Sin is everywhere because man's world has been polluted. But the Lord cleanses you from all sins, including sins you didn't necessarily commit but rubbed off on you.

This was the reason they had all kinds of ceremonial "washings" in the Old Testament. If they wanted to go into the presence of God, they'd wash their hands and their feet; they had to wash all the time. But it's not so today: the blood of Jesus Christ Himself cleanses us from all sin automatically. He takes care of any sin, whether from someone else, from the environment, etc., so that you can keep walking your way through life in victory, from glory to glory. Hallelujah!

Then in John 15:3, He says, _*"Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you."*_ It's the ministry of the Word to cleanse you of sin, guilt, and all unrighteousness so you can walk in perfection and excellence, producing works and fruits of righteousness.

    *PRAYER OF SALVATION*
*“O Lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He’s alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I’m born again. Thank you Lord, for saving my soul! I’m now a child of God. Hallelujah!”*

    *PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I thank you for my new life in Christ, a life of righteousness with freedom from sin. Thank you for the continuous cleansing that comes from walking in the light of your Word. I walk in perfection and excellence, producing works and fruits of righteousness, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

  • *YOUR PRESENT AND PERMANENT PLACE OF DOMICILE*

    *PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*

    *THURSDAY, 5TH DECEMBER 2024*

_*Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1:13).*_

Our opening scripture says God has transferred us from the domain of darkness into the Kingdom of His Love-Son. That's where you are now. The transfer wasn't a process; it's not something that happens from time to time; it's already been effectuated, and it was a permanent transfer. Your present and permanent place of domicile is the Kingdom of God's Love-Son.

The question is: do you realize you're in His Kingdom? It's important to know this because it means you're not under the dominion of Satan. You're seated together with Christ, _*"Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come"*_ (Ephesians 1:21).

Recall what the Bible says about our Lord Jesus Christ in 1 Timothy 6:15-16: He's the _*"...blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto...."*_ In other words, He only has immortality (life, "deathlessness") and dwells in unapproachable light. He is light, and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5), and you're in Him.

That means in you, there's no darkness, no sickness, disease or infirmity, nothing of Satan because you were born into God's Kingdom of light—His marvellous light: _*"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light"*_ (1 Peter 2:9).

If this is true, and thank God it is, how can you have cancer? Where will diabetes, hypertension, heart condition, migraine headache, etc., come from since you presently and permanently dwell in the Kingdom of God's Love-Son where there's no darkness but light; where life and immortality reign? How can the devil oppress you when you're not under his jurisdiction?

In Luke 10:19, the Lord said, _*"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."*_ It's the reason you can say, "In the Name of Jesus, I refuse to accommodate Satan and anything from him; I belong in the Kingdom of God's Love-Son, Jesus Christ, with dominion over Satan, sickness, disease, death and the demons of darkness." Hallelujah!

    *PRAYER OF SALVATION*
*“O Lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He’s alive today. *CONFESSION*
*I'm in the Kingdom of God's Love-Son, where there's no darkness, disease, failure or death. I'm seated with Christ, far above all principality, power, might, dominion and everything that's named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. Amen.*

    *FURTHER STUDY:*
*||* *Ephesians 2:4-6* But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus: *||*

*||* *1 John 5:4* For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith. *||*

*||* *Colossians 1:12-13* Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son: *||*

  • *HE DRAWS THEM IN THROUGH HIS MESSAGE*

    *PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*

    *WEDNESDAY, 4TH DECEMBER 2024*

_*No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him...(John 6:44).*_

The Lord Jesus explained that God draws individuals through His Word and His message: _*"It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me"*_ (John 6:45). When people hear the message and respond in faith, they're drawn to Jesus because _*"...faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"*_ (Romans 10:17).

This means for someone to come to Christ, they first need to hear the message of the Gospel (Romans 10:14). This underscores the importance of our individual responsibility in preaching and sharing the Gospel because it is through this proclamation that God draws people to Himself. So, more than ever before, preach the Gospel with conviction.

In Romans 1:16-17, Paul's conviction is palpable as he asserts that the Gospel is the definitive power of God for salvation. No wonder he preached it boldly, covering whole regions and territories with the Gospel, even at the peril of his life. He said in Romans 15:19, _*"...from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ."*_

His valedictory remarks to the Christians at Ephesus, just before he rounded off his ministry, will provoke your faith for the Gospel and literally make you weep in intercession for souls. Read the entire portion in Acts 20:18-27. Paul knew that there are no alternatives; the Gospel is the singular pathway to salvation for all who believe.

Therefore, like Paul, be resolute and absolute in your commitment to proclaiming the Gospel. Refuse to stay silent in your workplace, in the marketplace, and in your community. Consider the divine connections and opportunities God orchestrates in your life—the people you meet, the places you go—they're not just for your personal gain but opportunities to share the message of salvation. Proclaim Christ to everyone you meet, recognizing that God networks us primarily to fulfil His eternal purpose of drawing people to Himself through us. Hallelujah!

    *PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I recognize that it is through the proclamation of your Word that you draw people unto yourself. I walk in boldness and clarity as I share the message of salvation with those in my sphere. I see every encounter as an opportunity orchestrated by you to bring others into the Kingdom. By your Spirit, I'm empowered to be an effective witness of your grace and love to a hurting world, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

    *FURTHER STUDY:*

*HE DRAWS THEM IN THROUGH HIS MESSAGE* *PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME* *WEDNESDAY, 4TH DECEMBER 2024* _*No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him...(John 6:44).*_ The Lord Jesus explained that God draws individuals through His Word and His message: _*"It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. He said in Romans 15:19, _*"...from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ."*_ His valedictory remarks to the Christians at Ephesus, just before he rounded off his ministry, will provoke your faith for the Gospel and literally make you weep in intercession for souls. Hallelujah! *PRAYER* *Dear Father, I recognize that it is through the proclamation of your Word that you draw people unto yourself. Amen.* *FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Mark 16:15-16* And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. *||* *||* *Acts 1:8* But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. *||* *||* *Matthew 28:19-20* Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. • *YOU'RE HIS WITNESS TO YOUR GENERATION*

    *PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*

    *SUNDAY, 1ST DECEMBER 2024*

_*O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called (1 Timothy 6:20).*_

Do you realize you're a witness to your generation? The Lord Jesus said in Acts 1:8, _*"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."*_ You're His witness to all those who are connected to you: your co-workers, family members, and those in your neighbourhood or estate where you live. The Gospel has been committed to you for their salvation.

The Bible says in 1 Timothy 1:11, _*"According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust."*_ Paul said the Gospel was committed to his trust. It's the same with you. You've been entrusted with the Gospel. The same message that saved your life has been committed to your trust. Now, you ought to use that same Gospel to bring salvation to others. That's what success is. You become a fruit-producing branch. Jesus said, _*"I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing"*_ (John 15:5).

Paul said to Timothy, _*"...keep that which is committed to thy trust..."*_ (1 Timothy 6:20). That term committed is from an interesting Greek word, "parakatathéké" which means "a deposit." This means a deposit has been made; something has been given to your trust. Now you're going to use that investment of your personality.

You're like a bag of seeds; the deposits in you are seeds of the Kingdom that you plant in other people. That's your number one job. If you give utmost attention to it, everything else will fall into place. Remember the words of Jesus: _*"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you"*_ (Matthew 6:33).

The things that the Gentiles seek after will be added to you if you seek the expansion of God's Kingdom first. Remember, you're representing the Kingdom, and now, the Kingdom is working in your behalf. Be sure to witness to someone about Jesus Christ. We're having ReachOut World Day tomorrow; give at least one person in your sphere of contact a copy of Rhapsody of Realities, and see the Kingdom of God expand through you.

    *PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I thank you for entrusting me with the precious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I recognize the responsibility and honour it is to be a witness to my generation. My life is a testament to your love and grace, producing lasting fruit for your Kingdom. Thank you for the privilege to serve and represent this glorious Kingdom, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

    *FURTHER STUDY:*
*||* *Mark 16:15* And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. *||*

*||* *Acts 26:14-18* And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? [it is] hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. 16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; 17 Delivering thee from the people, and [from] the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, 18 To open their eyes, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and [from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. *||*

  • *REPROVING THE WORLD OF SIN*

    *PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*

    *THURSDAY, 28TH NOVEMBER 2024*

_*And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment (John 16:8).*_

Reproving the world for its wicked works and evil is a core part of the ministry of Christ. He told us in John 16:8 that when the Holy Spirit comes, He'll do the same thing; He'll continue this work. He does exactly that today. Let's read our opening verse again, this time, from the AMPC: _*"And when He comes, He will convict and convince the world and bring demonstration to it about sin, and about righteousness,(uprightness of heart, and right standing with God) and about judgment."*_

The Holy Spirit convicts and convinces the world of sin, showing them the error of their ways and the righteousness that comes through Christ. But how does He carry out this ministry? He does it through us. We're His vessels, bearing His message of salvation to the world. So, let's keep heralding His truth and praying for the lost that God will guide them to embrace the truth and be transformed by the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ.

Through our prayers and the preaching of the Gospel, sinners are awakened to their need for salvation. They turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God. Remember that it's Satan that blinded their eyes (2 Corinthians 4:4), but through our prayers, we extricate them from the dominion of Satan, and the light of God's Word penetrates their hearts, illuminating the way of salvation and drawing them into the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

    *PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I thank you for the ministry of the Holy Spirit who convicts and convinces the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. I pray for those who are yet to know Christ that their eyes be opened to the truth of the Gospel. Today, as they hear your Word, it illuminates their hearts to receive salvation. Thank you Lord, for the finished work of Christ and for the grace that has ushered us into righteousness, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

    *FURTHER STUDY:*
*||* *John 3:17-18* For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. *||*

*||* *Acts 26:16-18* But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; 17 Delivering thee from the people, and [from] the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, 18 To open their eyes, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and [from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. *||*

*||* *2 Corinthians 4:3-4* But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. *||*

    *|||| TRANSCENDENTLY BLESSED ||||*

*|| Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). ||*

    Wednesday 27th, November.
    Pastor Chris

As a Christian, there's no blessing from God that's not already in you and actively at work in your life. You've been blessed with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Just imagine any blessing you want; it's already yours because you're in Christ; the blessings are in Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:20 tells us that all the blessings of God in Christ are yes and amen to the glory of God. Hallelujah!

It explains why Peter declares in 1 Peter 3:9, "Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing." In Christ Jesus, we're supremely and graciously blessed; no curse can work against you. You're seated together with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), far above all principality and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named not only in this world, but also in that which is to come (Ephesians 1:21).

Therefore, from where and from whom would the curse come? Remember the story of Balaam, a prophet hired by Balak to curse Israel. He realized that no curse or enchantment could prevail against God's chosen people. God had blessed them, and no external power could undo that blessing. Numbers 23:23 says, "Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel....

If the Old Testament Israel couldn't be cursed, how much more the Church of Christ, also called the Israel of God? Hallelujah! No evil machinations, enchantments or witchcraft can work against you. The demons recognize who you are; there's a mark on you; you're branded by God and they know it! They know you're blessed and superior to them. You're in Christ, and Christ is in you.

Someone may try to take your position at work; you don't need to get worked up or start praying against them. You're already victorious. That's what the Bible says, "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us" (Romans 8:37). You're always in victory (1 Corinthians 15:57). Glory to God!

    *||PRAYER||*
*|| Dear Father, I thank you for making me a partaker of your divine nature and for blessing me with your abundant grace. I walk in divine favour, because I'm supremely blessed. My life is full of glory and excellence. I'm a living testimony of your manifold wisdom. Thank you for the victory I have in Christ now and always, in Jesus' Name. Amen. ||*

Pastor Chris As a Christian, there's no blessing from God that's not already in you and actively at work in your life. *|| But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me... (Galatians 1:15-16). ||*

    Tuesday 26th, November.
    Pastor Chris

There're those who attempt to understand God through their intellect as though God could be studied in a
laboratory. However, knowing God is not something that can be achieved through mental effort or intellectual exercise. Even Paul the apostle, a highly educated man, realized that his learning was insufficient when it came to knowing Jesus Christ. He needed revelation.

You can only know God by the revelation of the Spirit. There's a level of humility required to reach that point. You must come to the realization that no amount of intellectual prowess could help you here; you need God's revelation. And when you humble yourself, God will reveal Himself to you as He did with Paul.

Paul was an erudite scholar; read Philippians 3 where he declared his resume and made some very thought-provoking statements. He said, "Concerning the righteousness which is in the law, I was blameless"; he knew it all (Philippians 3:6). Then he says in verses 8-10, "Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: ...that I may win Christ, and be found in him... That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection..." (Philippians 3:8-10).

Then in Galatians 1:15-16, he said, "But when it pleased God...to reveal his Son in me." It was by revelation that Paul eventually came to know Jesus Christ. No wonder he prayed a beautiful prayer of the Spirit for the Christians in Ephesus that God would grant them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him (Ephesians 1:17-18).

He understood that you couldn't "experiment" or hypothesize to know God or discover Him through history alone. Without revelation, no one could truly know God, and that's why we pray for those who don't know Him, that their eyes be opened to the truth of the Gospel and that the veil of darkness in their hearts be removed by the Spirit to receive divine revelation and experience the fullness of God's love and salvation. Amen.

    *||PRAYER||*
*|| Dear Father, I pray for those yet to know you that you will reveal yourself to them by your Spirit, removing every veil of darkness and barrier of ignorance and pride from their hearts. *|||| SUPERIOR TO ANGELS ||||*

*|| Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life (1 Corinthians 6:3). ||*

    Friday 22nd, November.
    Pastor Chris

This scripture indicates that Christians will indeed judge angels. We will be seated together with Christ on thrones, and we shall judge the world and judge angels according to the Scriptures.

Does this imply that Christians are superior to God's angels? Yes, and our superiority is the result of our identity, our oneness with Christ. We're joint heirs with Christ, born of the Spirit of God. Unlike the angels who are servants of God, we're God's children: "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ..." (Romans 8:16-17 NKJV).

The Bible says, "...the servant abideth not in the house forever: but the Son abideth ever" (John 8:35). And 1 John 3:2 says, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God...;" we have the rights and privileges of sonship. We're one with Christ, and He has given us His authority; we live and function in His Name.

Some have asked for clarification with reference to Matthew 22:30 which indicates that at the resurrection we would be as angels. You have to understand the context: it says, "For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven." Here, Jesus was responding to a question about marriage after resurrection, but He clarified that in the resurrection, we won't be bound by earthly institutions like marriage. Instead, we will be like the angels, without gender, and will not engage in marriage.

This doesn't mean we will "drop" in rank to the status of angels but that we'll transcend earthly distinctions. In the resurrection, we'll be like God, who is neither male nor female. Presently, the angels are sent to serve us: "But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation" (Hebrews 1:13-14).

    *||PRAYER||*
*|| Dear Father, I thank you for making me a joint heir with Christ, seated in heavenly places with Him, living and walking in the authority in His Name. I walk in the consciousness of my divine nature and live victoriously, reigning in life through Christ. Thank you for my divine oneness with you, my position, authority and inheritance in Christ, in Jesus' Name. Amen. ||*

*|| 1 John 3:1-2 ||* Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

*|| Romans 8:16-17 NIV ||* The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

*|| Ephesians 2:4-6 ||* But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus:

    *|||| SUPERIOR TO ANGELS ||||*

  • *HIS STANDARDS ARE UNCHANGING*

    *PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*

    *WEDNESDAY, 20TH NOVEMBER 2024*

_*For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21).*_

Without a proper understanding of righteousness, it's impossible to live a true Christian life. Why is righteousness so important? To truly understand righteousness, we must first understand God. This is because, in the world, righteousness isn't typically discussed. People might talk about doing what is right or wrong in terms of good and evil, but these are based on human definitions and moral standards.

These standards can change depending on cultural, societal, or individual beliefs about what is right or wrong. For example, in certain countries, though bizarre, their law allows for same-sex marriages, meaning that in such societies, if a man marries another man, it's considered okay. But in certain other societies, this act might be considered wrong or even punishable by death. In one place, it's seen as normal; in another, it's viewed as a grave sin. But God's position on it is clearly defined in the Scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments (Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:26-32).

God's concept of righteousness is different. Many people mistakenly believe that the majority opinion represents the voice of God, but that's not true. Whether the majority gets it right or wrong is irrelevant. God has His own voice, His own standards, His own Kingdom, and His own choices. He has expressed His will through Jesus Christ, whom He sent.

When we talk about righteousness, we're talking about God's ability and attribute, the character of God to be right and perfect. It is about who He is. How He thinks is always right. What He says is always right. What He does is always right because He's God. So, everything about God—His thoughts, His words, His actions—is always right. This is what we call the quality of rightness, the rightness of God.

Therefore, understanding righteousness is about understanding who God is. It is about recognizing that His standards are unchanging and not subject to human opinions or societal norms.

    *PRAYER*
*Righteous Father, I align my thoughts, words and actions with your unchanging standards and live in your righteousness in this crooked and perverse world, shining as a light. *|| Although you have been forsaken and hated, with no one traveling through, I will make you the everlasting pride and the joy of all generations (Isaiah 60:15 NIV). ||*

    Tuesday 19th, November.
    Pastor Chris

The prophetic words in Isaiah 60:15 are worth celebrating. It says, "Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations." He said to Israel, " I will make you." I love those words. It brings to mind the words of Jesus in Mark 1:17, "...Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men."

You don't have to struggle to "become" anything when you follow the Lord; He makes you. Read again what He said in Isaiah 60:15, "... I will make you an eternal excellency..." This is God's plan-to make the Church, every one of us, an eternal excellency; what a transcendent thought!

It means we're the pride of the ages. The Complete Jewish Bible (CJB) puts it beautifully: "In the past you were abandoned and hated, so that no one would even pass through you; but now l will make you the pride of the ages, a joy for many generations." You're the joy of many generations-that's what God is saying about you. This is His purpose for your life.

Believe and act on these words. Affirm that you're what God says you are. Respond by saying, "Blessed Father, I'm the pride of my family, city, and nation; I'm the pride of many generations in the Name of Jesus." Amen!

    *||PRAYER||*

This is God's plan-to make the Church, every one of us, an eternal excellency; what a transcendent thought! *||PRAYER||* *|| Dear Father, thank you for making me the pride of the ages, a joy to many generations. I'm the pride of my family, city, and nation.

*|| But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light ( 1 Peter 2:9 NET). ||*

    Sunday 17th, November.
    Pastor Chris

In the book of Acts, Luke reports how Peter and John healed a man who had been lame from birth. As a result, Peter and John were arrested and brought before the Sanhedrin (the Jewish council). During their interrogation, Peter boldly spoke about Jesus and the power of His Name.

The Sanhedrin observed Peter and John's courage and their profound understanding of divine realities, despite their lack of formal education (Acts 4:13). They saw in Peter and John the display of the excellence and perfection of Christ. It's no surprise that the same Peter, by the Spirit, would write in 1 Peter 2:9, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light."

This is very significant as the term "show forth" translates from the Greek "exaggello," which means to display. Think about that as your calling, your assignment; it's to display the excellence and perfection of divinity. The King James Version uses the term "praises" but that doesn't fully convey the meaning. The best word for it is a combination of excellence and perfection.

So, when it says you should show forth the praises of Him, it means you're to display the excellencies and perfections of the one who called you out of darkness. The AMPC renders it a bit more accurately: "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, (God's own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light."

Every day is an opportunity for you to fulfil this unique calling, to display the wonders, glory, perfections, love, grace, mercy and righteousness of Christ to the world. Hallelujah!
