John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it (Luke 16:16 NKJV).

Monday 23rd, December.
Pastor Chris
The Kingdom of God is a real Kingdom, howbeit, a spiritual one, and being born again, we’re progenies of the Kingdom. The Kingdom of God includes
everything under God’s dominion, both on earth and in Heaven. But there’s also the Kingdom of Heaven, which is the earthly manifestation of the Kingdom of God, set up by Jesus.
So, when Jesus came and said, "The Kingdom of God is at hand" (Matthew 3:2, Mark 1:15), He was referring to the Kingdom of Heaven that He had come to establish or set up in the earth. This is the Kingdom that Jesus began to preach and to make known, something others couldn’t do because they hadn’t entered it themselves—it was promised to them.
But Jesus preached it and then brought us into it through the New Birth. Hallelujah! Colossians 1:12-13 says, “Giving thanks unto the Father… Who hath…translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.”
So, today, the same Kingdom that Jesus Himself preached is what He’s commissioned us to preach to the
ends of the earth: “And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God…” (Luke 9:2). But one day, very soon, this Kingdom, which is in the spirit realm right now, will manifest in this world and take over this world.
Intensify your efforts and stop at nothing in ensuring the good news of the Kingdom spreads to the ends of the earth; win more souls into the Kingdom. The Lord Jesus, referring to being born again, said in John 3:5, “…Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”
It’s our responsibility to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom so that every man, woman, boy and girl on the face of the earth might hear, believe and be brought into the Kingdom. Remember the words of the Master in Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Blessed be God!
*||PRAYER||*
*|| Dear Father, thank you, because now that I’m born again, your Kingdom is in my heart. I proclaim the glorious news of your saving power to those who’re held bound by the shackles of the adversary, bringing them out of damnation into the glorious liberty of your Kingdom, in Jesus' Name. Amen. ||*

*UNDERSTAND LOVE FROM GOD'S PERSPECTIVE*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*SUNDAY, 22ND DECEMBER 2024*
_*And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God (Ephesians 3:19).*_
I like the fact that at Christmas time many profess love; they say it's a season to love one another. But most only assume to know what love is, whereas they really don't. What most have experienced and understood is tolerance, not love. Tolerance is your ability to bear with others; it's a good thing, but it shouldn't be confused as love. That you tolerate people doesn't mean you love them.
Even the Jews had difficulty understanding love. The Jewish mind was complex, and one of the ways God could get their attention was to give them the golden rule: _*"Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: l am the LORD"*_ (Leviticus 19:18). He said to them, "Love your neighbour as yourself." But how could a man love his neighbour as himself when even he isn't conscious of loving himself?
This wasn't God's best delineation of love, but He had to work with them from the "outside." So, He said to them, "Do unto others as you want them to do to you" (Matthew 7:12, Luke 6:31). After a while, they began to abuse this. A man could take another's wife and say, "l don't mind if you do the same to me. Take my rude wife."
But when Jesus came, He manifested God's love in a way that was different. He said, _*"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends"*_ (John 15:13). He showed them love from God's perspective, and not only did He preach this love, He proved it. You can't show or manifest true love if you don't know Jesus.
When you hear someone say, "l can't please you and displease myself," such a person is quoting from the Old Testament. But Jesus says no; it's not about pleasing yourself; it's about laying down your life for others. It's about making others happy even at the expense of your own feelings. There's no greater love than this. Your understanding of this will completely change your life and your commitment to Jesus Christ, and to those for whom He died.
*CONFESSION*
*By the Spirit, I have an understanding of the dimensions of God's love. I'm filled with the love of Christ, which surpasses all knowledge. *ETERNAL LIFE DEFINED*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*SATURDAY, 21ST DECEMBER 2024*
_*That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:15).*_
Imagine preaching the Gospel to someone and the person asks you, "What is eternal life?" What will you say? I'll give you two simple statements that'll help you understand what it is. The first one is that eternal life is the life and nature of God. This in itself isn't a definition but an expression that describes what kind of life it is. Eternal life is a life that's different from other kinds of life; it's the life and nature of God.
As a definition, eternal life is the organic and existential attributes of deity. Why is this important? It's because all over the world, people talk about different gods. There're so many deities in different cultures represented in so many ways. But none of them has eternal life.
Eternal life is the life that Jesus, in Scripture, declared the Father has, which essentially distinguishes Him from all others that may be called gods: _*"For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself"*_ (John 5:26). The Bible declares, _*"...And now we are in God because we are in JESUS CHRIST HIS SON, WHO IS THE ONLY TRUE GOD: AND HE IS ETERNAL LIFE"*_ (1 John 5:20 TLB). Jesus Christ is God! In Him, we find and can relate with the organic and existential attributes of deity.
When He walked the earth, He was life encapsulated in a human body and manifested to us: _*"For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us"*_ (1 John 1:2).
This eternal life is what He brought to the world (John 10:10). This is the message of the Kingdom of God: that Jesus Christ offers eternal life freely. That's why it's called Gospel; you don't have to pay anything for it.
*CONFESSION*
*I rejoice in knowing that I have the life and nature of God in me—the organic and existential attributes of deity. This divine life sets me apart and empowers me to live victoriously. I walk in the consciousness of this incorruptible, impregnable and invincible life in me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*YOU KNOW HIM*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*FRIDAY, 20TH DECEMBER 2024*
_*You know the way to the place where I am going. Thomas said to him, Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way? (John 14:4-5 NIV).*_
The Lord Jesus, just before His crucifixion, had a meeting with His disciples where He told them He would be going away to Heaven. They were saddened by the news, but Jesus comforted them, saying, _*"...l go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going"*_ (John 14:3-4 NIV).
Notice His language: always succinct, always positive. It shows you the Master's mentality. He said, "You know the way to the place where I am going." But Thomas, who was thinking in the flesh, said, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?" Jesus' response to him was profound. He said, _*"...l am the way, the truth, and the life..."*_ (John 14:6). What an answer!
Jesus was speaking by the Spirit, and His answer probably made Thomas more confused because Thomas was reasoning in the flesh. Then Jesus said in the next verse, _*"If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him"*_ (John 14:7). Remarkable!
Notice that Jesus didn't say, "Okay, Thomas, from henceforth, I'm going to try to introduce the Father to you"; no! Rather, He said, "You know Him." This is the way He wants you to think. He doesn't want you arguing and declaring your lack of knowledge. Respond in the spirit. The Bible says you have an unction from the Holy One and you know all things (1 John 2:20). Hallelujah!
The Lord has said you know the Father; therefore say, "Yes sir! I know Him." Blessed be God! When you agree and affirm the Word like that, suddenly, the knowledge of God will well up in your spirit, and you'll discover the truth. Remember, He is the way, the truth, and the life. What He tells you is truth. If He says you know Him, that's the truth. Moreover, He also said it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom (Mathew 13:11, Luke 8:10), and that includes knowing the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!
*PRAYER*
*I thank you Father, for you've revealed yourself to me in the Lord Jesus and by your Spirit. I declare with confidence that I know you, and I walk in that truth always. *THE MESSAGE OF CHRIST*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*THURSDAY, 19TH DECEMBER 2024*
_*Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart (2 Corinthians 3:2-3).*_
What's an epistle? It's a letter or written message. When Paul said, "Ye are our epistle...," he was saying, "You're our message, known and read of all men." Jesus Christ was the message of God. He was the Word of God—God's message—sent to the world to be read of all men. He was manifested in the flesh.
When men encountered Jesus in Bible days, they encountered the Word of God. When He spoke, it was the Word speaking. When He acted, it was God's Word in action. When He healed, it was God's Word performing the miracles. Everything He did was the manifestation of the Word of God in flesh. Therefore, He was manifestly declared to be the Word of God in the flesh.
Now, referring to us, Paul says exactly the same thing: _*"Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us..."*_ (2 Corinthians 3:3). Did you see that? You are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ the same way Jesus was manifestly declared to be the Word of God in the flesh. This means you're the message of Christ, and being the message of Christ means you're the message of God.
If you are the epistle of Christ, then you're the epistle of God. If you are the word of Christ, then you're the Word of God. Knowing this amazing truth, how are you going to live your life? That's why God has given us His written Word so we can learn His language and talk His language. The necessary result of that is an outflow of the God-life through you. That'll be your experience every day. There'll be no defeat in your life. Irrespective of who your adversaries are or the circumstances in which you find yourself, you'll be an absolute victor. Glory to God!
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, thank you for making me the epistle of Christ, your living message to the world. I acknowledge that I'm your Word in the flesh, manifesting your glory, grace and truth. As I study the Word meditatively and speak it forth, I experience an outflow of the God-life, living in absolute victory and dominion in Christ Jesus. Amen.*

EXCERPT FROM: Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional*THE MESSAGE OF CHRIST* *PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME* *THURSDAY, 19TH DECEMBER 2024* _*Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart (2 Corinthians 3:2-3).*_ What's an epistle? *DEMONS ARE REAL—CAST THEM OUT*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*WEDNESDAY, 18TH DECEMBER 2024*
_*And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils...(Mark 16:17).*_
There're people who say they don't believe in the existence of demons, saying that devils or demons only exist in the imagination of certain people. Such folks are ignorant because the Bible tells us that Satan and demons are real. 1 Peter 5:8 says, _*"...your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."*_
Jesus taught about demons and how they operate, and He cast out demons on several occasions. In fact, the very first sign He said would follow those who believe in Him is what we read in our opening scripture: the ability to cast out demons.
Once, He was teaching in the synagogue and the Bible tells us that a certain woman who was bent double and couldn't straighten up herself came into the synagogue. The Bible says, _*"And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity"*_ (Luke 13:12). In the 11th and 16th verses, it's clearly stated that the woman's condition was caused by the devil, and Jesus proved it when He touched her and commanded her to straighten up, and she was restored instantly.
There were also instances where He commanded deaf spirits to come out of people who were deaf and dumb, and they instantly began to hear and speak. Many of us have done the same thing over the years in His Name. We've cast out deaf and dumb spirits, and instantly, the people who were afflicted started to hear and to speak. We did exactly what Jesus said to do and what He did. Glory to God!
He told us to cast out demons because they are real and are responsible for many of the troubles and infirmities that people suffer with and that we see around us. So, don't be deceived by Satan's incognito; if he can get you to believe he doesn't exist, then he can mess up your life and mess up things around you. The Bible says we're not ignorant of his devices (2 Corinthians 2:11). Ephesians 4:27 tells us to give him no place, no foothold.
Satan and his demons may be real, but they're powerless, defenceless and paralyzed before us. Whenever they show up, cast them out; truncate their activities, manoeuvres and manipulations. You have absolute dominion over them; exercise it.
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, thank you for the authority I have in the Name of Jesus to cast out demons and to destroy their works and schemes. Thank you for the victory and dominion I have over all the power of the enemy. I walk in this authority today and always, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*THE WORD IN FLESH*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*MONDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2024*
_*And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14).*_
In one of our previous studies, I explained to you that Jesus is the Son of God—God in human flesh! The Bible shows us something more about who He is in John 1:1. It says, _*"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."*_ The 14th verse says, _*"...the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us...."*_ But a more accurate rendering is "the Word became flesh"; Jesus Christ is the Word of God become flesh.
It's easy to accept that Jesus is the living Word, the Word become flesh, but do you know that the same is true about you? The Bible says: _*"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever"*_ (1 Peter 1:23). You were born again by the Word of God, which lives and abides forever.
Think about it: Jesus Christ is the Logos of God, the Word of God, become flesh. Now, that same Word that became flesh gave birth to you. That makes you God's Word in flesh. Paul understood this and called us the epistles of Christ—the words of Christ: _*"Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart"*_ (2 Corinthians 3:3).
Then he points out something extraordinary in the 18th verse: _*"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord"*_ (2 Corinthians 3:18). He says as you reflect on God's Word, as you ponder and meditate on it, you see yourself—as the reflection of God's glory, for you're the offspring of the Word. Hallelujah!
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I thank you for your Word that has given birth to me; now I have and live the life of the Word. I'm influenced and transformed by your Word to live the glory-life. What confidence Jesus had,
to
state
that
God
had
given Him power
over
all
flesh
to
give
them
eternal life. This means Jesus is the One who gives eternal life. If He’s the Lord of your life, you have eternal life in you because He gives eternal life to all those over whom He’s Lord.
You can only know and understand life when you know the source of life, and that’s Jesus Christ. The next verse says, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent” (John 17:3). Notice how Jesus classifies Himself here with God because He is Himself God. He didn't say, “that they might know thee, the only true God,” and stop there. He said “and Jesus Christ”; meaning you’ve got to know God and you’ve got to know Jesus Christ. You can't have one without the other.
Jesus is eternal life; that’s the reason He can give it. So, if you don't know Him, you can’t know life. The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23). Again, we see that God gives eternal life through Jesus Christ.
This truth gets even clearer in 1 John 5:11-12, which says, “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” He says, “…this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life….” Observe the tenses. It doesn’t say if you have the Son, God will give you life. Rather, it
says, “If you have the Son, you have life.” That’s the same thing Jesus said in John 6:47: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” Glory to His Name forever!

*USE HIS AUTHORITY, PRAYING IN HIS NAME*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*FRIDAY, 13TH DECEMBER 2024*.
_*Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind (Colossians 2:18).*_
In Christianity, we don't worship angels, neither do we ask angels to pray for us. No matter how much you call on them to pray for you, they won't pray for you because they can't pray for you. Jesus told us how to pray; He said, _*"...Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you"*_ (John 16:23). We pray to the Father in the Name of Jesus.
We're the only ones with the right, privilege and blessing to use His Name in prayer. We don't even ask Jesus to pray to the Father for us. Jesus said, _*"At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: for the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God"*_ (John 16:26-27). So, we don't say, "Lord Jesus, please talk to the Father for me." No; the Father Himself loves us, so we talk to Him directly.
I've always pointed out the difference between praying to God through Jesus Christ and praying to God in the Name of Jesus. They're not the same. Praying to God in the Name of Jesus is what Jesus told us to do. Praying to God through Jesus Christ is making Jesus a medium, and after you're born again, He's not a medium to you. He's a medium to God only for the sinner.
Remember what He said: _*"...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me"*_ (John 14:6). But when you come by Him to the Father, you don't need a medium anymore because you're now in the presence of the Father. Praying in the Name of Jesus is a matter of authority. It means you're using His authority.
Why do you use His authority? Because He saved you, and He owns everything. His Name is on all creation; everything was created in His Name. Everything belongs to Him. The Father put the Name of Jesus as the stamp on all of His creation: _*"Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him"*_ (Colossians 1:15-16). Therefore, everything listens to Jesus (Matthew 17:5). Everything! So, use His Name today with boldness.
*PRAYER OF SALVATION*
*“O Lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He’s alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I’m born again. Thank you Lord, for saving my soul! I’m now a child of God. Hallelujah!”*
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I thank you for the authority you've given me to use the Name of Jesus in prayer. I exercise this authority with boldness, knowing that I have direct access to you and that all creation listens to me as they listen to Jesus. I walk in health, dominion, strength, victory, peace and the abundant Iife, because I live in the Name of Jesus. Hallelujah!*

*EXTRACT FROM: Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional**USE HIS AUTHORITY, PRAYING IN HIS NAME* *PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME* *FRIDAY, 13TH DECEMBER 2024*. _*Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind (Colossians 2:18).*_ In Christianity, we don't worship angels, neither do we ask angels to pray for us. *PRAYER OF SALVATION* *“O Lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. Hallelujah!”* *PRAYER* *Dear Father, I thank you for the authority you've given me to use the Name of Jesus in prayer. I exercise this authority with boldness, knowing that I have direct access to you and that all creation listens to me as they listen to Jesus. I walk in health, dominion, strength, victory, peace and the abundant Iife, because I live in the Name of Jesus. Hallelujah!* *FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *John 14:13-14* And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it]. *||* *||* *Philippians 2:9-11* Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth; 11 And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father. *||* *||* *Colossians 2:18 NIV* Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. *LIFE AND IMMORTALITY UNVEILED*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*THURSDAY, 12TH DECEMBER 2024*
_*But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).*_
What we just read in our opening scripture is extraordinary. There's no better way to explain it than how it's already stated. The message is very clear: Christ has abolished death and has brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. The Church has to come to the knowledge and profundity of this truth.
Now that you're born again, you've passed from death to life; you're in the place of immortality—deathlessness: _*"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life"*_ (John 5:24). You have the transcendent life—the overcoming life that makes you superior to Satan, darkness, disease, sickness, failure, defeat, and death.
Now, if this is true, and thank God it is, why are there still so many in the Church today struggling with their health and being buffeted by the elements of this world? The reason is their lack of understanding, consciousness and knowledge of this truth. God said in Hosea 4:6, "My people are destroyed for their lack of knowledge."
It brings to mind the lamentation of the psalmist, Asaph in Psalm 82:5-7, _*"They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes."*_ How sad! Being born again, you're a god because you're born of God; therefore, you have the God-life! That life isn't subject to sickness; it's death-proof and disease-proof! This is the truth, and unless you accept this reality, you'll never live it.
This is what Jesus came to accomplish for us, and He fulfilled it. He "finished" the work. On the Cross, before He died, He said, "It is finished"; in other words, mission accomplished; death is abolished; life and immortality are now unveiled! The Bible says, _*"But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God"*_ (Hebrews 10:12). Glory to God!
He made life and immortality available through the Gospel and sat down at the right hand of God. Now the Bible says whosoever believes in Him has everlasting life (John 3:16). Having believed, you have life and immortality. Blessed be God!
*CONFESSION*
*I was born into the realm of life and immortality; I have passed from death to life. I have the transcendent life—the overcoming life—that makes me superior to Satan, darkness, disease, sickness, failure, defeat and death: a life that's beyond this world! I reign gloriously over circumstances and live triumphantly every day, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*
*FURTHER STUDY:*
*||* *John 11:25-26* Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? *||*
*||* *Romans 8:10-11* And if Christ [be] in you, the body [is] dead because of sin; but the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. *||*
*||* *1 Corinthians 15:53-57* For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where [is] thy sting? O grave, where [is] thy victory? 56 The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law. 57 But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. *||*

*NOW THAT JESUS IS LORD OF YOUR LIFE*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*WEDNESDAY, 11TH DECEMBER 2024*
_*...if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9).*_
When you confessed the Lordship of Jesus, believing that God raised Him from the dead, you received eternal life; you were born into Christ and Christ came into you. You now have His life, His nature, and His spirit. This also means you'll never go to hell because Jesus Christ, the light of the world, lives in you. He already went to hell in your place and defeated Satan and his cohorts of darkness in hell (Colossians 2:15).
When He obtained the victory in hell, you were in Him. Accordingly, you have victory over hell, sin and death. No wonder the Bible says, _*"Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world"*_ (1 John 4:17). In the Day of Judgment, you'll boldly face the Master because as He is so are you. How is He? He's righteous and holy; and so are you.
Colossians 1:21-22 says, _*"And you...hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight."*_ 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, _*"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."*_ It's His doing; we didn't ask for any of these: It pleased Him to make us partakers of the divine nature—associates of the God-kind (2 Peter 1:4).
1 John 5:11-12 says, _*"And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life..."*_ (NIV). When you made Jesus the Lord of your life, His divine life supplanted your human life. Like Him, you possess the organic and existential attributes of deity. You're a God-carrying vessel; you're one in whom all of divinity dwells. The Bible says concerning Jesus: _*"For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily"*_ (Colossians 2:9). Then the very next verse says, _*"And ye are complete in him..."*_ (Colossians 2:10).
This means you have what He has, for you're a joint-heir with Him (Romans 8:17). You're where He is; you're seated with Him in the place of dominion, great glory, power and authority (Ephesians 2:6). You can do all things (Philippians 4:13), for you function in His Name and in His sufficiency (2 Corinthians 3:5). These and more are the realities now that Jesus is Lord of your life.
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I thank you for my new life in Christ Jesus; I rejoice that I am now in Christ and He is in me. His life, nature and Spirit are at work within me. I have what He has, for l'm a joint-heir with Him. I'm where He is because I'm seated with Him in the place of dominion, great glory, power and authority. I can do all things because I act in His Name and in His sufficiency. Blessed be God!*

Pastor Chris
When Jesus declared that He was the Christ, the Jews accused Him of blasphemy because they understood what the term “Christ” meant. Christ means “Son of God,” and that expression means “God in human flesh.” Recall that in John 10 the Jews asked Him, if He was the Christ? and Jesus said, “Yes.” Then they cried, “…
blasphemy; you, a mere man, have declared yourself to be God” (John 10:33 TLB).
They understood the implication of Jesus saying He was the Christ and they vehemently opposed Him for making such a claim. But He was right; He is the Christ,
the Son of God, and anyone who believes in Him has life. Hallelujah! Many years ago, as I took the Gospel to different places, I often would announce to the people that our purpose for coming to them was so they might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing, they might have life through His Name.
Then, I’d give an altar call. Many believed in Him and the moment they did, they received eternal life for He has
said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life” (John 6:47). In Romans 6:11, Paul tells us how to respond to this: “Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
So, today, if you believe in Jesus, it means you’re dead to sin but alive to God. You have eternal life. The Bible says through the Gospel, He brought life and immortality to light (2 Timothy 1:10). You’ve passed from death to life: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” (John 5:24).

*HE CLEANSES YOU FROM ALL SINS*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*MONDAY, 9TH DECEMBER 2024*
_*In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:14).*_
Our opening verse says in Christ Jesus we have redemption (riddance) through His blood, and then in the concluding part, it says, _*"...even the forgiveness of sins."*_ That word "even" is in parenthesis, which means it wasn't in the original text. The translators inserted it by their own prerogative, but it was wrongly applied.
The correct conjunction is the word "and": "In whom we have redemption through his blood, and the forgiveness of sins." To say "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins" suggests that "we have redemption of sins through His blood, meaning the forgiveness of sins." But that's not true, because they are two different things: first, in Christ Jesus, we have our riddance or redemption, and secondly, we have our freedom from sins (forgiveness). We're free from sins.
That means you don't have to sin. You don't have to keep watching to be sure that you don't sin; rather, just keep walking in righteousness; keep walking in the light in His Word—His Word is light (Psalm 119:105). 1 John 1:7 says, _*"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."*_ This happens automatically.
As you walk in the light of God's Word, and in fellowship with other Christians, He automatically cleanses you from all sins. Sin is everywhere because man's world has been polluted. But the Lord cleanses you from all sins, including sins you didn't necessarily commit but rubbed off on you.
This was the reason they had all kinds of ceremonial "washings" in the Old Testament. If they wanted to go into the presence of God, they'd wash their hands and their feet; they had to wash all the time. But it's not so today: the blood of Jesus Christ Himself cleanses us from all sin automatically. He takes care of any sin, whether from someone else, from the environment, etc., so that you can keep walking your way through life in victory, from glory to glory. Hallelujah!
Then in John 15:3, He says, _*"Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you."*_ It's the ministry of the Word to cleanse you of sin, guilt, and all unrighteousness so you can walk in perfection and excellence, producing works and fruits of righteousness.
*PRAYER OF SALVATION*
*“O Lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He’s alive today. I’m now a child of God. Hallelujah!”*
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I thank you for my new life in Christ, a life of righteousness with freedom from sin. Thank you for the continuous cleansing that comes from walking in the light of your Word. I walk in perfection and excellence, producing works and fruits of righteousness, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*GOD'S TESTIMONY: YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*SUNDAY, 8TH DECEMBER 2024*
_*And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son (1 John 5:11).*_
The term "record" in our opening verse also means testimony. The New International Version and a few other versions put it more clearly: _*"And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son"*_ (1 John 5:11 NIV). To get a better understanding of what John was discussing here, you'll have to read the ninth and tenth verses as well. Let's read: _*"We accept human testimony, but God's testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son. Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son"*_ (1 John 5:9-10 NIV).
God's testimony is that you have eternal life because you have Jesus Christ. You don't have to feel it to know you have it. All you need is God's testimony that you already have it. If you don't accept His testimony, then you make Him a liar, and God cannot lie. That testimony also says anyone who doesn't have the Son of God doesn't have life.
The 13th verse in the New International Version is so beautiful. There, the apostle John says, _*"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life."*_ Glory to God! If you believe in the Name of the Son of God, this was written to you so you can accept God's testimony, and that testimony is that you have eternal life. Therefore, even now, say with confidence, "I have eternal life because I have the Son of God!" Hallelujah!
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I rejoice in your testimony that I have life because l have Jesus Christ. I walk in this consciousness today as I manifest your divine nature and power. I'm full of life, health and strength, and I live victoriously because eternal life is at work in me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*HE GAVE US KINGDOM AUTHORITY*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*FRIDAY, 6TH DECEMBER 2024*
_*Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven (Matthew 18:18).*_
In our previous study, we learnt that we've been transferred from the jurisdiction or domain of darkness into the Kingdom of God's Love-Son. So, we're currently in the Kingdom of God's Love-Son. But what happens here? How are we supposed to live now that we're in the Kingdom? Are we supposed to cry to God for the solution to one problem or the other? No! Having brought us into the Kingdom, we have Kingdom authority!
The Lord Jesus said, _*"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy..."*_ (Luke 10:19). Then recall what He said in our opening scripture: _*"Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven"*_ (Matthew 18:18).
He's given you the authority to determine the course and circumstances of your life. What you say is what obtains because you're standing in the authority of Jesus Christ. If you observe that things around you or the circumstances of your life aren't aligning with God's perfect will, give the word and He'll endorse it. He allows what you allow and disallows what you disallow. He's given you the authority to effect changes when things aren't happening right.
Now you can understand why some people have remained in certain precarious conditions for a long time; it's because they allowed it to continue. As a Christian, the day you decide you don't want any particular issue to continue is the day it will stop. Maybe it's sickness—perhaps a tumour or growth in your body—decide and declare, "l can't have this in my body; my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit; therefore, I curse this growth and cut out this tumour in the Name of Jesus." That'll be it!
Don't say, "Oh God, please take this sickness away"; that won't change anything. He's not responsible for it; rather, He's given you the authority to do something about it. It doesn't matter what challenges you may be facing today. Don't cry. Don't beg. Don't cower or complain. Exercise your authority in Christ! What does it take to exercise that authority? We'll learn more about that in our next study.
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I thank you for giving me the authority to effect changes and determine the course and circumstances of my life in line with your perfect will. Even now, your blessings—health, peace and prosperity—are evident in my life. I walk in righteousness, propelled by your wisdom as I fulfil my destiny in Christ, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*YOUR PRESENT AND PERMANENT PLACE OF DOMICILE*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*THURSDAY, 5TH DECEMBER 2024*
_*Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1:13).*_
Our opening scripture says God has transferred us from the domain of darkness into the Kingdom of His Love-Son. That's where you are now. The transfer wasn't a process; it's not something that happens from time to time; it's already been effectuated, and it was a permanent transfer. Your present and permanent place of domicile is the Kingdom of God's Love-Son.
The question is: do you realize you're in His Kingdom? It's important to know this because it means you're not under the dominion of Satan. You're seated together with Christ, _*"Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come"*_ (Ephesians 1:21).
Recall what the Bible says about our Lord Jesus Christ in 1 Timothy 6:15-16: He's the _*"...blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto...."*_ In other words, He only has immortality (life, "deathlessness") and dwells in unapproachable light. He is light, and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5), and you're in Him.
That means in you, there's no darkness, no sickness, disease or infirmity, nothing of Satan because you were born into God's Kingdom of light—His marvellous light: _*"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light"*_ (1 Peter 2:9).
If this is true, and thank God it is, how can you have cancer? Where will diabetes, hypertension, heart condition, migraine headache, etc., come from since you presently and permanently dwell in the Kingdom of God's Love-Son where there's no darkness but light; where life and immortality reign? How can the devil oppress you when you're not under his jurisdiction?
In Luke 10:19, the Lord said, _*"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."*_ It's the reason you can say, "In the Name of Jesus, I refuse to accommodate Satan and anything from him; I belong in the Kingdom of God's Love-Son, Jesus Christ, with dominion over Satan, sickness, disease, death and the demons of darkness." Hallelujah!

*HE DRAWS THEM IN THROUGH HIS MESSAGE*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*WEDNESDAY, 4TH DECEMBER 2024*
_*No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him...(John 6:44).*_
The Lord Jesus explained that God draws individuals through His Word and His message: _*"It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me"*_ (John 6:45). When people hear the message and respond in faith, they're drawn to Jesus because _*"...faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"*_ (Romans 10:17).
This means for someone to come to Christ, they first need to hear the message of the Gospel (Romans 10:14). This underscores the importance of our individual responsibility in preaching and sharing the Gospel because it is through this proclamation that God draws people to Himself. So, more than ever before, preach the Gospel with conviction.
In Romans 1:16-17, Paul's conviction is palpable as he asserts that the Gospel is the definitive power of God for salvation. No wonder he preached it boldly, covering whole regions and territories with the Gospel, even at the peril of his life. He said in Romans 15:19, _*"...from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ."*_
His valedictory remarks to the Christians at Ephesus, just before he rounded off his ministry, will provoke your faith for the Gospel and literally make you weep in intercession for souls. Read the entire portion in Acts 20:18-27. Paul knew that there are no alternatives; the Gospel is the singular pathway to salvation for all who believe.
Therefore, like Paul, be resolute and absolute in your commitment to proclaiming the Gospel. Refuse to stay silent in your workplace, in the marketplace, and in your community. Consider the divine connections and opportunities God orchestrates in your life—the people you meet, the places you go—they're not just for your personal gain but opportunities to share the message of salvation. Proclaim Christ to everyone you meet, recognizing that God networks us primarily to fulfil His eternal purpose of drawing people to Himself through us. Hallelujah!
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I recognize that it is through the proclamation of your Word that you draw people unto yourself. I walk in boldness and clarity as I share the message of salvation with those in my sphere. I see every encounter as an opportunity orchestrated by you to bring others into the Kingdom. By your Spirit, I'm empowered to be an effective witness of your grace and love to a hurting world, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

EXCERPT FROM: Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional*HE DRAWS THEM IN THROUGH HIS MESSAGE* *PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME* *WEDNESDAY, 4TH DECEMBER 2024* _*No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him...(John 6:44).*_ The Lord Jesus explained that God draws individuals through His Word and His message: _*"It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. *DECLARE WHAT YOU WANT IN HIS NAME*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME*
*TUESDAY, 3RD DECEMBER 2024*.
_*And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues (Mark 16:17).*_
There's a difference between calling on the Name of Jesus and making a demand in His Name. It's crucial to understand this distinction. Consider Romans 10:13; it says, _*"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."*_ Sinners can call upon His Name for salvation, but as Christians, we use His Name; we exercise dominion in His Name.
Using His Name isn't about calling out to Him as if you're stil a sinner seeking salvation. Now that you're born again, you belong to the household of God. The Name of Jesus is now named upon you and given to you to live by. You don't need to call upon Him anymore for anything: rather, you use His Name with authority to create anything or effect the changes you desire.
Notice in our opening verse that He didn't say, "Call upon my name and I'll cast the devils out and heal the sick"; no! Rather, you're to use His Name to cast out devils, heal the sick, cleanse lepers, and raise the dead. His Name is an instrument; use it! In John 14:13-14 He said, _*"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do...If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it."*_
What a bold statement! That means you can demand anything in His Name and it'll happen. For example, if you were in a distressing situation, instead of calling "Jesus!
Jesus! Jesus!" out of desperation or panic, declare what you want in His Name. Speak with the authority He's given you. You say, "In the Name of Jesus, I demand healing," or "In the Name of Jesus, you devil of darkness, I command you to lose your grip and get out!"
Always remember that you're in charge and in control because you function in the Name of Jesus. Everything in life, physical and spiritual, including governments, thrones, the galaxies, principalities and powers, are all subject to the Name of Jesus. Declare what you want in His Name with confidence, and you'll have a testimony. Glory be to God!
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, thank you for the power and authority you've granted us to use the Name of Jesus. I walk in this authority and exercise dominion over circumstances and situations. I speak healing, peace and prosperity in His Name, and I thank you for the confidence and assurance that come with using the Name of Jesus to effect a change and bring your will to pass. Amen.*

*JESUS WANTS THE BEST FOR YOU*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*MONDAY, 2ND DECEMBER 2024*
_*You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! (Psalm 139:16-17 NLT).*_
Some people are afraid to allow the Lord Jesus have His way in their lives. They think He'll change their dream; that dream they've so nursed all their lives; that picture they've painted for themselves. They feel He might lead them to become something they don't want, so they become apprehensive.
Well, the only people that think this way are those who don't know who Jesus is. And because they don't know Him, they can't trust Him. If you ever get to know who He is, you'd learn to trust Him. Think about it: all He ever wants is the best for you. Therefore, you can trust Him with your life. He's interested in everything about you. He loves you more than you love yourself. He has a plan for you, and that plan is to make you successful and joyful all the time.
He said in Jeremiah 29:11 NIV, _*"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."*_ No one else has this kind of plan for you. It also brings to mind His endearing words in 3 John 1:2, _*"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."*_ Think about that!
It's the reason He gave you His life, His righteousness, His glory, and His Name; so you can live transcendently above Satan, sin, sickness, disease, infirmities and death. Glory to His Name forever!
*PRAYER*
*Righteous Father, thank you for your unwavering love and perfect plans for my life. I trust you completely, knowing that your plans are to prosper me, give me hope, and secure my future. *YOU'RE HIS WITNESS TO YOUR GENERATION*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*SUNDAY, 1ST DECEMBER 2024*
_*O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called (1 Timothy 6:20).*_
Do you realize you're a witness to your generation? The Lord Jesus said in Acts 1:8, _*"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."*_ You're His witness to all those who are connected to you: your co-workers, family members, and those in your neighbourhood or estate where you live. The Gospel has been committed to you for their salvation.
The Bible says in 1 Timothy 1:11, _*"According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust."*_ Paul said the Gospel was committed to his trust. It's the same with you. You've been entrusted with the Gospel. The same message that saved your life has been committed to your trust. Now, you ought to use that same Gospel to bring salvation to others. That's what success is. You become a fruit-producing branch. Jesus said, _*"I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing"*_ (John 15:5).
Paul said to Timothy, _*"...keep that which is committed to thy trust..."*_ (1 Timothy 6:20). That term committed is from an interesting Greek word, "parakatathéké" which means "a deposit." This means a deposit has been made; something has been given to your trust. Now you're going to use that investment of your personality.
You're like a bag of seeds; the deposits in you are seeds of the Kingdom that you plant in other people. That's your number one job. If you give utmost attention to it, everything else will fall into place. Remember the words of Jesus: _*"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you"*_ (Matthew 6:33).
The things that the Gentiles seek after will be added to you if you seek the expansion of God's Kingdom first. Remember, you're representing the Kingdom, and now, the Kingdom is working in your behalf. Be sure to witness to someone about Jesus Christ. We're having ReachOut World Day tomorrow; give at least one person in your sphere of contact a copy of Rhapsody of Realities, and see the Kingdom of God expand through you.
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I thank you for entrusting me with the precious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I recognize the responsibility and honour it is to be a witness to my generation. My life is a testament to your love and grace, producing lasting fruit for your Kingdom. Thank you for the privilege to serve and represent this glorious Kingdom, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. 16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; 17 Delivering thee from the people, and [from] the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, 18 To open their eyes, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and [from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. *||*

*CONSULT THE SPIRIT FOR GUIDANCE IN ALL THINGS*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*SATURDAY, 30TH NOVEMBER 2024*
_*Don't dabble in the occult or traffic with mediums; you'll pollute your souls. I am GOD, your God (Leviticus 19:31 MSG).*_
In 1 Samuel 28:7-23, we read about the desperate act of King Saul when he sought out a woman practising divination to call up the spirit of Samuel, though Samuel had already died. Saul, troubled and without divine guidance, resorted to something forbidden, consulting with a medium—a witch.
The Bible makes it clear that Saul's actions were grievous to God. Saul knew God's law but deliberately sought out a familiar spirit. In 1 Chronicles 10:13-14, the Bible confirms Saul's disobedience, stating that Saul died for his transgression of seeking counsel from one with a familiar spirit.
Saul knew this was wrong as he had driven out witches and wizards from the land as seen in 1 Samuel 28:9. Yet, in his desperation, he turned to the very evil he had once condemned. God had given an instruction in Exodus 22:18: _*"Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live."*_ He had also explicitly forbidden consulting familiar spirits: _*"Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God"*_ (Leviticus 19:31).
Also, Deuteronomy 18:10-12 says, _*"There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord...."*_ Furthermore, Isaiah 8:19-20 warns: _*"And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."*_
Don't consult with mediums; it's not of God. Divination is wrong in all forms, whether consulting familiar spirits of the living, the dead, or demons. It's wrong to seek the future by consulting the spirits of the dead. Instead, you're to consult the Holy Spirit for guidance concerning anything in life, and He lives in you. Glory to God!
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, thank you for the light of your Word that guides me in all things. I'm led by the Holy Spirit and filled with your wisdom and truth. My heart is stayed on you, and I walk in the counsel of your Word in all things, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

I am GOD, your God (Leviticus 19:31 MSG).*_ In 1 Samuel 28:7-23, we read about the desperate act of King Saul when he sought out a woman practising divination to call up the spirit of Samuel, though Samuel had already died. To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."*_ Don't consult with mediums; it's not of God. *PRAYER* *Dear Father, thank you for the light of your Word that guides me in all things. I'm led by the Holy Spirit and filled with your wisdom and truth. _*I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy (Romans 11:11).*_
In your efforts to win souls, disciple new converts and bring them to church, there're those who may never accept your message or agree to join your local fellowship; don't be discouraged. Take a cue from how God dealt with the world. First, Jesus took His message to the Jews, His own people, for He came from among them. He brought them the message of the Kingdom but they rejected Him. What did He do? He then took the message to the Gentiles—to the rest of the world. And even today, many continue to receive that message.
Paul experienced the same thing. As a Jew, he first preached to the Jews, but they argued with him and rejected his message even though he was one of them. They knew him as the man who once persecuted Christians, and when he turned to Christ, they wouldn't listen to him. Many of them even turned against him. But Paul didn't let that stop him.
When the Jews wouldn't accept his message, he turned to the Gentiles and had great success. Your focus should be on those who are open to receive the Gospel. Luke captured some of these. In Acts 13:46, for example, the Bible says, _*"Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles."*_
Also, Acts 18:6 tells us, _*"And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles."*_ Apply the same principle. Don't allow those who reject your message to determine the condition of your spirit or your mood. Pray for them, intercede on their behalf, but don't let their rejection control your heart. Focus on winning others.
As you succeed in reaching more people, one day, those who rejected your message will be provoked by your success and drawn to Christ, just as the Bible tells us that the Jews will be provoked by the salvation of the Gentiles and eventually believe in Jesus Christ. Stay encouraged and press on; keep your focus on the mission, knowing that as you prosper in the work of the Lord, others will be drawn to your light.

*REPROVING THE WORLD OF SIN*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*THURSDAY, 28TH NOVEMBER 2024*
_*And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment (John 16:8).*_
Reproving the world for its wicked works and evil is a core part of the ministry of Christ. He told us in John 16:8 that when the Holy Spirit comes, He'll do the same thing; He'll continue this work. He does exactly that today. Let's read our opening verse again, this time, from the AMPC: _*"And when He comes, He will convict and convince the world and bring demonstration to it about sin, and about righteousness,(uprightness of heart, and right standing with God) and about judgment."*_
The Holy Spirit convicts and convinces the world of sin, showing them the error of their ways and the righteousness that comes through Christ. But how does He carry out this ministry? He does it through us. We're His vessels, bearing His message of salvation to the world. So, let's keep heralding His truth and praying for the lost that God will guide them to embrace the truth and be transformed by the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ.
Through our prayers and the preaching of the Gospel, sinners are awakened to their need for salvation. They turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God. Remember that it's Satan that blinded their eyes (2 Corinthians 4:4), but through our prayers, we extricate them from the dominion of Satan, and the light of God's Word penetrates their hearts, illuminating the way of salvation and drawing them into the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I thank you for the ministry of the Holy Spirit who convicts and convinces the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. I pray for those who are yet to know Christ that their eyes be opened to the truth of the Gospel. Today, as they hear your Word, it illuminates their hearts to receive salvation. Thank you Lord, for the finished work of Christ and for the grace that has ushered us into righteousness, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*|||| TRANSCENDENTLY BLESSED ||||*
*|| Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). ||*
Wednesday 27th, November.
Pastor Chris
As a Christian, there's no blessing from God that's not already in you and actively at work in your life. You've been blessed with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Just imagine any blessing you want; it's already yours because you're in Christ; the blessings are in Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:20 tells us that all the blessings of God in Christ are yes and amen to the glory of God. Hallelujah!
It explains why Peter declares in 1 Peter 3:9, "Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing." In Christ Jesus, we're supremely and graciously blessed; no curse can work against you. You're seated together with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), far above all principality and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named not only in this world, but also in that which is to come (Ephesians 1:21).
Therefore, from where and from whom would the curse come? Remember the story of Balaam, a prophet hired by Balak to curse Israel. He realized that no curse or enchantment could prevail against God's chosen people. God had blessed them, and no external power could undo that blessing. Numbers 23:23 says, "Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel....
If the Old Testament Israel couldn't be cursed, how much more the Church of Christ, also called the Israel of God? Hallelujah! No evil machinations, enchantments or witchcraft can work against you. The demons recognize who you are; there's a mark on you; you're branded by God and they know it! They know you're blessed and superior to them. You're in Christ, and Christ is in you.
Someone may try to take your position at work; you don't need to get worked up or start praying against them. You're already victorious. That's what the Bible says, "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us" (Romans 8:37). You're always in victory (1 Corinthians 15:57). Glory to God!
*||PRAYER||*
*|| Dear Father, I thank you for making me a partaker of your divine nature and for blessing me with your abundant grace. I walk in divine favour, because I'm supremely blessed. *REVELATION: THE TRUE PATH TO KNOWING HIM*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*TUESDAY, 26TH NOVEMBER 2024*
_*But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me... (Galatians 1:15-16).*_
There're those who attempt to understand God through their intellect as though God could be studied in a laboratory. However, knowing God is not something that can be achieved through mental effort or intellectual exercise. Even Paul the apostle, a highly educated man, realized that his learning was insufficient when it came to knowing Jesus Christ. He needed revelation.
You can only know God by the revelation of the Spirit. There's a level of humility required to reach that point. You must come to the realization that no amount of intellectual prowess could help you here; you need God's revelation. And when you humble yourself, God will reveal Himself to you as He did with Paul.
Paul was an erudite scholar; read Philippians 3 where he declared his resume and made some very thought-provoking statements. He said, "Concerning the righteousness which is in the law, I was blameless"; he knew it all (Philippians 3:6). Then he says in verses 8-10, _*"Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: ...that I may win Christ, and be found in him...That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection..."*_ (Philippians 3:8-10).
Then in Galatians 1:15-16, he said, _*"But when it pleased God...to reveal his Son in me."*_ It was by revelation that Paul eventually came to know Jesus Christ. No wonder he prayed a beautiful prayer of the Spirit for the Christians in Ephesus that God would grant them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him (Ephesians 1:17-18).
He understood that you couldn't "experiment" or hypothesize to know God or discover Him through history alone. Without revelation, no one could truly know God, and that's why we pray for those who don't know Him, that their eyes be opened to the truth of the Gospel and that the veil of darkness in their hearts be removed by the Spirit to receive divine revelation and experience the fullness of God's love and salvation. Amen.
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I pray for those yet to know you that you will reveal yourself to them by your Spirit, removing every veil of darkness and barrier of ignorance and pride from their hearts. I pray that their minds be enlightened to know and experience the fullness of your love and salvation, and comprehend the truth of the Gospel. By your grace, many will come to the full knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ today, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*
*FURTHER STUDY:*
*||* *1 Corinthians 2:9-12* But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. *||*
*||* *Ephesians 1:15-18* Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, *||*
*||* *Matthew 16:13-17* When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some [say that thou art] John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. *||*

(Galatians 1:15-16).*_ There're those who attempt to understand God through their intellect as though God could be studied in a laboratory. Amen. *PRAYER* *Dear Father, I pray for those yet to know you that you will reveal yourself to them by your Spirit, removing every veil of darkness and barrier of ignorance and pride from their hearts. I pray that their minds be enlightened to know and experience the fullness of your love and salvation, and comprehend the truth of the Gospel. By your grace, many will come to the full knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ today, in Jesus' Name. Amen.* *FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *1 Corinthians 2:9-12* But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. *||* *||* *Ephesians 1:15-18* Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, *||* *||* *Matthew 16:13-17* When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some [say that thou art] John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. *||* *SCRIPTURE READING* *1-Year Bible Reading Plan=>* 1 Peter 5 & Ezekiel 35-36 *2-Year Bible Reading Plan=>* Revelation 2:1-12 & Hosea 5-6 EXCERPT FROM: Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional -
*THE REAL MEDICINE*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*MONDAY, 25TH NOVEMBER 2024*
_*My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22).*_
Notice what we just read; first, it says _*"...attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart...."*_ How can you attend to God's words if you don't know them? That's why it's important to study, meditate, and act on the Word continually by the Spirit.
Secondly, it says, _*"For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh."*_ God's Word has the power to heal and deliver. His words are life and health to all your flesh. The Hebrew word for health here is "marpe," and it means cure or medicine; the Word has curative powers. That's why the King James Version uses the word 'health'; God's Word is medicine for your body.
If you have a problem with your body, like a health condition, and you meditate on God's Word, you'll be cured. God's Word is the real medicine—the universal, infallible panacea for any issue regarding your health. Through meditation, the real medicine enters your heart, your veins, your arteries, your muscles, your bones, effecting a cure, mending and perfecting all things.
This is the reason someone who's been diagnosed with cancer can get cured by meditating on the Word. The Word is a healer and a cleanser (John 15:3); it'll cleanse your blood; it'll purify and cleanse it of any kind of sickness, disease or infirmity. Psalm 107:20 says, _*"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."*_
It brings to mind Job 33:19-22 where the Bible describes the sufferings of a man in pain and weakness and how his suffering became so severe; his body had deteriorated and was at the precipice of death. But verse 23 in the Amplified Classic Translation revealed his hope; it says, _*"[God's voice may be heard] if there is for the hearer a messenger or an angel, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show to man what is right for him [how to be upright and in right standing with God]."*_ God's voice—His Word—can be heard; when you hear it, it imparts faith to you; it brings you healing and makes you whole.
*PRAYER*
*Thank you Father for your Word that brings healing and deliverance. Your Word is medicine to my body; my entire being—my organs, bones, veins, arteries, blood—are inundated by the Word. I walk in divine health and victory, because your Word is my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*JESUS—THE PROFILE OF THE FATHER*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*SUNDAY, 24TH NOVEMBER 2024*
_*Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature (Colossians 1:15).*_
The Greek word translated "image" in the scripture above is "eikōn," which is where the English gets the word "icon." It means resemblance or profile. God is invisible, but if you want to know what He looks like, Jesus is the image, the profile of the invisible God.
This helps us further understand the words of Jesus in John 14:8 (NKJV) when Philip said to Him, _*"...Lord, show us the Father, and it uis sufficient for us."*_ Jesus replied him, _*"...Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?"*_ (John 14:9). This is amazing!
For their religious minds, this was too huge because Jesus had been talking so much about the Father. He talked about His oneness with the Father and that He would return to the Father. They wanted to see the Father, but He told them, _*"...he that hath seen me hath seen the Father..."*_ (John 14:9). In Hebrews 1:3, we get another powerful description; it says, _*"Who being the brightness of his glory and the express image of his person...."*_ The Greek word translated "express image" here is "charaktēr," and it means exact copy, perfect imprint or facsimile.
Jesus is the exact representation of God's essence. If you want to see the perfect imprint of God's person, it's found in Jesus. Jesus displayed the divine nature, essence, and character of God. No wonder John 1:18 says, _*"No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him."*_ The Greek word for "declared" here is 'exēgeomai,' meaning to display or rehearse.
Jesus didn't merely talk about God; He rehearsed and displayed the divine nature. The great and mighty works He did are proofs of His divine essence and oneness with the Father. He said, _*"Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father in me, or else believe me for the sake of the works themselves"*_ (John 14:11 NKJV).
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I thank you for revealing your essence and nature through Jesus Christ, the perfect imprint of your being. As I behold the image of Christ through the Word, I see you, for He is the exact representation of your character, your love and your glory. *|||| SUPERIOR TO ANGELS ||||*
*|| Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life (1 Corinthians 6:3). ||*
Friday 22nd, November.
Pastor Chris
This scripture indicates that Christians will indeed judge angels. We will be seated together with Christ on thrones, and we shall judge the world and judge angels according to the Scriptures.
Does this imply that Christians are superior to God's angels? Yes, and our superiority is the result of our identity, our oneness with Christ. We're joint heirs with Christ, born of the Spirit of God. Unlike the angels who are servants of God, we're God's children: "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ..." (Romans 8:16-17 NKJV).
The Bible says, "...the servant abideth not in the house forever: but the Son abideth ever" (John 8:35). And 1 John 3:2 says, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God...;" we have the rights and privileges of sonship. We're one with Christ, and He has given us His authority; we live and function in His Name.
Some have asked for clarification with reference to Matthew 22:30 which indicates that at the resurrection we would be as angels. You have to understand the context: it says, "For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven." Here, Jesus was responding to a question about marriage after resurrection, but He clarified that in the resurrection, we won't be bound by earthly institutions like marriage. Instead, we will be like the angels, without gender, and will not engage in marriage.
This doesn't mean we will "drop" in rank to the status of angels but that we'll transcend earthly distinctions. In the resurrection, we'll be like God, who is neither male nor female. Presently, the angels are sent to serve us: "But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation" (Hebrews 1:13-14).

*|||| VESSELS OF DIVINE POWER ||||*
*|| But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us (2 Corinthians 4:7). ||*
Thursday 21st, November.
Pastor Chris
Did you know that as a child of God, you have an indescribable treasure in you? God has deposited his divine power and glory within our "earthen vessels," our human bodies. We're vessels of divine power. Why did He do this? The Scripture tells us why: "...that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."
His extraordinary power and glory are tabernacled in our physical bodies so that when they're manifested, everyone would see and recognize they're not of human origin. They're beyond anything human strength can produce. Glory to God! No wonder Paul said, "Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God" (2 Corinthians 3:5 ).
Read our opening verse again, this time, from the Amplified Classic for a clearer understanding. It says, "However, we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospell in (frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves." Every day is an opportunity for you to manifest God's glory and power. The Bible says He's called us to a life of glory and virtue, a life of excellence (2 Peter 1:3).
Your life is for the glory of God. Hallelujah! Every day, as you live by faith and walk in the knowledge of God, you demonstrate the divine power that is within you. As a result of this divine power, the Bible says you've been granted all things that pertain to life and godliness. You've become a participator in the divine experience, a partaker of the divine nature.
Nothing is impossible with you. You can do the unthinkable and the unimaginable: "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us" (Ephesians 3:20). Live boldly and confidently every day, knowing that God's extraordinary power is at work in you and effuses through you for His glory. You're a vessel of divine power.
*||PRAYER||*
*|| Dear Father, thank you for the precious treasure of your divine power and glory within me. I am grateful that your extraordinary power is manifested in my life for your glory. I live in the consciousness of this truth, shining your light and manifesting your glory to the world as I walk in your power and righteousness, in Jesus' Name. Amen. ||*

*||PRAYER||* *|| Dear Father, thank you for the precious treasure of your divine power and glory within me. *HIS STANDARDS ARE UNCHANGING*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*WEDNESDAY, 20TH NOVEMBER 2024*
_*For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21).*_
Without a proper understanding of righteousness, it's impossible to live a true Christian life. Why is righteousness so important? To truly understand righteousness, we must first understand God. This is because, in the world, righteousness isn't typically discussed. People might talk about doing what is right or wrong in terms of good and evil, but these are based on human definitions and moral standards.
These standards can change depending on cultural, societal, or individual beliefs about what is right or wrong. For example, in certain countries, though bizarre, their law allows for same-sex marriages, meaning that in such societies, if a man marries another man, it's considered okay. But in certain other societies, this act might be considered wrong or even punishable by death. In one place, it's seen as normal; in another, it's viewed as a grave sin. But God's position on it is clearly defined in the Scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments (Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:26-32).
God's concept of righteousness is different. Many people mistakenly believe that the majority opinion represents the voice of God, but that's not true. Whether the majority gets it right or wrong is irrelevant. God has His own voice, His own standards, His own Kingdom, and His own choices. He has expressed His will through Jesus Christ, whom He sent.
When we talk about righteousness, we're talking about God's ability and attribute, the character of God to be right and perfect. It is about who He is. How He thinks is always right. What He says is always right. What He does is always right because He's God. So, everything about God—His thoughts, His words, His actions—is always right. This is what we call the quality of rightness, the rightness of God.
Therefore, understanding righteousness is about understanding who God is. It is about recognizing that His standards are unchanging and not subject to human opinions or societal norms.
*PRAYER*
*Righteous Father, I align my thoughts, words and actions with your unchanging standards and live in your righteousness in this crooked and perverse world, shining as a light. My life is a reflection of your grace and a testimony of your goodness, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

Tuesday 19th, November.
Pastor Chris
The prophetic words in Isaiah 60:15 are worth celebrating. It says, "Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations." He said to Israel, " I will make you." I love those words. It brings to mind the words of Jesus in Mark 1:17, "...Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men."
You don't have to struggle to "become" anything when you follow the Lord; He makes you. Read again what He said in Isaiah 60:15, "... I will make you an eternal excellency..." This is God's plan-to make the Church, every one of us, an eternal excellency; what a transcendent thought!
It means we're the pride of the ages. The Complete Jewish Bible (CJB) puts it beautifully: "In the past you were abandoned and hated, so that no one would even pass through you; but now l will make you the pride of the ages, a joy for many generations." You're the joy of many generations-that's what God is saying about you. This is His purpose for your life.
Believe and act on these words. Affirm that you're what God says you are. Respond by saying, "Blessed Father, I'm the pride of my family, city, and nation; I'm the pride of many generations in the Name of Jesus." Amen!

Pastor Chris
Peter's beautiful words help us to further understand Christianity. In Christianity we've been born into God's marvellous light, His wonderful light. The word "marvellous" means wondrous. Most translations interpret this as if we're being brought out of literal darkness into light. But that's not the full picture.
When it says He brought us out of darkness, the term "darkness" actually means obscurity. He called you out of obscurity. He's not referring to being called out of the kingdom of darkness in a general sense, but rather being brought out of obscurity-out of being unknown, unrecognized, unnoticed, where nobody knows or cares about you.
He brought you out of obscurity into limelight, His wondrous or wonderful light. Why does He call it wonderful light? It will take several scriptures to fully explain this, but I want you to understand that this is the light of Jesus Christ.
In Luke 1:79, Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist spoke about the message of salvation that would be brought forth, saying that this message would illuminate those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death: "To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace." They were sitting ni darkness, sitting in obscurity, but Christ would be their light.
This means His wonderful light does two things: it illuminates you and then makes you luminous. You become lambent and resplendent. Yours is the kind of light that both illuminates and transforms into a light source itself. The light is so strong, so dazzling that it turns its subjects into lights. That's why it's described as His marvellous light, His wondrous light. You've been brought into this light, and now you are lambent. Hallelujah!
*||PRAYER||*
*|| Dear Father, thank you for bringing me into your marvellous light. I'm no longer hidden, unknown, or obscure; I'm a city set on a hill, lambent with unquenchable intensity. *DISPLAYING HIS EXCELLENCE AND PERFECTION*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*

_*But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9 NET).*_
In the book of Acts, Luke reports how Peter and John healed a man who had been lame from birth. As a result, Peter and John were arrested and brought before the Sanhedrin (the Jewish council). During their interrogation, Peter boldly spoke about Jesus and the power of His Name.
The Sanhedrin observed Peter and John's courage and their profound understanding of divine realities, despite their lack of formal education (Acts 4:13). They saw in Peter and John the display of the excellence and perfection of Christ. It's no surprise that the same Peter, by the Spirit, would write in 1 Peter 2:9, _*"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light."*_
This is very significant as the term "show forth" translates from the Greek "exaggellō," which means to display. Think about that as your calling, your assignment; it's to display the excellence and perfection of divinity. The King James Version uses the term ''praises" but that doesn't fully convey the meaning. The best word for it is a combination of excellence and perfection.
So, when it says you should show forth the praises of Him, it means you're to display the excellencies and perfections of the one who called you out of darkness. The AMPC renders it a bit more accurately: _*"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God's] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light."*_
Every day is an opportunity for you to fulfil this unique calling, to display the wonders, glory, perfections, love, grace, mercy and righteousness of Christ to the world. Hallelujah!
*PRAYER*

_*Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (John 14:12).*_
What we just read are some of the most extraordinary words from the lips of the Master. He said those who believe in Him, not only will they do the same works that He did, but they'll do greater works. This is only possible because Jesus has ascended to the Father, and through the Holy Spirit, His work continues through us.
Recall what the Scripture says in lsaiah 53:10, _*"Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand."*_ This verse speaks prophetically of the Church, the body of Christ, as the seed of Jesus Christ. It tells us that after His vicarious sacrifice, the Lord Jesus will see His seed—the Church—and we shall prolong His days. Hallelujah!
That's what's going on; Jesus multiplies Himself through the Church today; He continues His mission through us. In Acts 1:1, Luke writes to Theophilus about _*"...all that Jesus began both to do and teach."*_ The key word here is "began"; Jesus started the work, but we continue it. We are the extension of His ministry, teaching, impacting and transforming lives as He did.
The same Spirit that anointed Jesus for His work resides in us, enabling us to continue and expand upon what He started. Through the Holy Spirit, we're empowered to reach more people and impact more lives for the Kingdom of God. Acts 1:8 says, _*"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."*_
The Church is the extension of Christ on earth, living in His power and authority, fulfilling His mission. This is a calling of great honour and responsibility. We're His hands, His feet, and His voice in this world, carrying out the will of the Father just as Jesus did.
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of being a part of the body of Christ. I'm forever grateful that through the Holy Spirit, I'm empowered to do your will and establish your righteousness. I walk in this calling with boldness and faith, knowing that my life glorifies you. Thank you for making me an extension of your Kingdom in the earth, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*MILK, MEAT, AND STRONG MEAT*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*FRIDAY, 15TH NOVEMBER 2024*
_*For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age... (Hebrews 5:13-14).*_
Our opening scripture emphasizes the importance of growing to maturity spiritually. It tells us that anyone who lives on milk is still an infant and therefore not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. The Bible talks about the sincere milk of the Word of God. Milk is for beginners; therefore, to stay on milk means to remain in spiritual infancy.
1 Peter 2:1-2 tells us something instructive; it says, _*"Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby."*_ Only those who are spiritually immature practice malice, guile, hypocrisy, envy and evil speaking. Such folks are to crave or desire the pure spiritual milk of the Word and grow unto maturity.
Take your Bible study seriously; learn the truth of God's Word and grow. There's more to spiritual nourishment than just milk. There's the "meat" of God's Word, and then there's also "strong meat." Strong meat belongs to the mature in Christ, those who have learned to live spiritually.
Recall what Paul said to the Christians in Corinth: _*"And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able"*_ (1 Corinthians 3:1-2). You must mature in the Word and develop a deep understanding of the Scriptures.
Just as in physical growth where a person moves from milk to solid food, there comes a time also when a Christian must transition from the elementary teachings to the deeper, more challenging doctrines of faith and then be ready to handle even more complex truths (read Hebrews 5:11-14).
Make your personal spiritual growth a top priority. Read Ephesians 4:14-15 NIV, and see God's desire for your life: _*"Then we will no longer be infants...Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ."*_ Hallelujah!
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, thank you for the spiritual nourishment you provide through your Word. I move beyond the basics and grow in understanding and application of the deeper truths of the Scriptures. I'm strengthened in my resolve to develop and exercise my faith, grow unto maturity, and manifest the glory-life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*
*FURTHER STUDY:*

*||* *Ephesians 4:14-15* That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ: *||*
*||* *Hebrews 6:1-2* Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. *||*

*ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR TRUE IDENTITY*
*PASTOR CHRIS OYAHKILOME*
*THURSDAY, 14TH NOVEMBER 2024*
_*And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32).*_
One of the fundamental requirements for the manifestation of truth in anyone's life is the knowledge of that truth. Hosea 4:6 says, _*"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...."*_ Ignorance leads to destruction because without understanding, people walk in darkness and fail to realize their true potential.
Also, in Psalm 82:6, the Lord said, _*"I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High."*_ This verse reminds us of our divine identity and potential. However, many don't understand and live in the reality of this truth. We see the result of this ignorance in the latter part of that verse: _*"But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes"*_ (Psalm 82:7).
We're divine beings; we're "gods" because God gave birth to us: _*"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God"*_ (John 1:12-13). James 1:18 says, _*"Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures."*_
This is the profound reality of our spiritual identity: we're as divine as He is divine because we have the same life with Him. Every so often, declare, "I know who I am!" Acknowledge your true identity. Knowing who you are in Christ empowers you and causes you to live triumphantly every day.
Consider how the Lord Jesus responded to the gruelling interrogation before Pilate. When questioned and accused, Jesus remained silent until Pilate asserted his supposed authority saying, "l can free you or have you crucified." Jesus then spoke up, summarizing His response with the acknowledgement of His true identity. He said, "You have no power over me at all" (John 19:11). Jesus' initial silence and subsequent declaration demonstrated His unwavering understanding of who He was. Just as the Lord Jesus knew His purpose and identity, you too must recognize and embrace your divine identity. This knowledge equips you to live boldly and purposefully, regardless of external pressures or challenges.
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I know and understand my true identity in Christ. I'm the righteousness of God in Christ, imbued with eternal life, the organic and existential attributes of deity. I'm victorious and vibrant, strong and excellent. I walk in the light of this truth every day, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*
